    Mayor Bob Kilger called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

    Members of Council were provided with an indepth presentation complete with power point information detailing which components and features the facility could possibility contain as well as the design approach and timelines for the delivery and construction process of the proposed facility.
    Mr. Stephen Alexander, General Manager of Planning, Parks and Recreation introduced to Council suggestions on working groups in so far as staff compliment, steering committee, community fundraising group and the integrated construction team. In addition a breakdown of which tasks and responsibilities might be provided. Details of the pros and cons of the design, bid and build or Design construction management was detailed and the critical steps to be taken towards getting the project shovel ready for fall 2009

    Following a question period on the suggested components and time optimum timelines from Members of Council, the meeting was adjourned with the understanding that Administration would go forward with the implementation of the Working Committee and that Mayor Kilger would appoint two Members of Council to participate on this Committee.
